Social Help
Social Commitment of CIMA Hospital – Pink Women
The CIMA San José Hospital, as part of its commitment to the health and well-being of the community, develops social aid initiatives that positively impact those who need it most. One example is its “Pink Women” campaign, focused on the early detection of breast cancer.
This initiative not only aims to raise awareness about the importance of early diagnosis but also acts with a strong solidarity and human component:
for each 3D mammogram and ultrasound package purchased by a patient, the hospital donates free exams to women in socially and economically vulnerable situations.
Thanks to this action, many women who could not easily access high-quality studies have had the opportunity to receive preventive medical care, improving their chances of early diagnosis and timely treatment.
The CIMA Hospital demonstrates with concrete actions that health is a right, not a privilege, and that medicine can also be a channel of equity, empathy, and social transformation.
