  • Joint Commission International (JCI) Gold Seal
    The hospital has been accredited for the sixth consecutive time with the JCI Gold Seal, which is considered the most prestigious and demanding accreditation in the hospital sector worldwide. This distinction recognizes compliance with more than 1,200 international standards covering aspects such as patient safety, quality of care, and continuous process improvement.
  • Pathway to Excellence Certification
    Granted by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, this certification recognizes CIMA San José Hospital as the only private hospital in Costa Rica and Central America to have this distinction. The certification is based on six standards that include effective leadership, shared decision-making, safety, quality, staff wellbeing, and professional development.

All payments corresponding to outpatient services, hospitalization and surgery will be previously verified by the Account Analysis Department and subsequently processed by the Admissions and Cashiers area.
