National Insurance (Costa Rica)
Hospital CIMA has direct payment agreements with the main insurers in the country. This means that, in many cases, you don’t need to advance full payment, just cover possible deductibles or expenses not covered by your policy.

Important: To use the insurance, you must present a letter of guarantee issued by the insurer. The hospital may require a credit card as backup to cover expenses not included.

International Insurance
Hospital CIMA also accepts international medical insurance. Procedures may vary depending on the insurer, but many of them allow direct payments to the hospital or reimburse you later.
